Torbay Packaging are a packaging materials wholesaler and cardboard box manufacturer, supplying the South West region of Devon. A true family affair, they pride themselves on offering the best service to customers and suppliers. First established in the 1980s, Torbay Packaging had built up a healthy reputation locally, and we long established listings with Yellow Pages and Yell.com. It was when owner Mike Green, started reviewing the websites performance and lead generation they we actually not doing as well as they could by. Torbay Packaging had been paying Yell over £350 a month, for a significant number of years, trusting them to be keeping on top of things. It was clear that there marketing and website had been dormant for some time and was not useable on mobile devices.
The website was the pressing issue and priority for Mike, mainly to save him money every month. We spoke to Mike about taking the opportunity to update the branding too.

We were tasked with bringing a modern and fresh look to the brand for Torbay Packaging, which we did in the form of a new logo design and branding.
Having been an established brand for so long, we didn’t want to stray too far from an image and style their long term customers were used to. In the same mindset they wanted something modern, fresh and professional that would also appeal to a new market and stand out on their new website, as well as their premises, workwear, and delivery vans.
We met with Mike and spoke to all the staff to be able to get clear on their vision, which helps us craft the finalised design.

The new logo design we created, and works really well to demonstrate, not only boxes, but packaging material too. Following this we evolved the branding and design into a new website platform to replace the out of date Yell offering.
During the first months of the website, we worked with Mike to establish valid and relevant keyword searches. The site soon overtook the position of the Yell advertisers and was very quickly performing better and getting 3 times the traffic.
